First I want to say thanx, the turnout was outstanding. We were hopin to let the battle tags stand...but how can you stop what happens when writers flood a spot. We will announce the winner of the tag battle tomorrow.
It's supposed to rain tomorrow on and off so we will have to contend with that and it may "dampen" our schedule a bit, but here it is:

Logan Square Graffiti Battle

In our attempts to dismantle the publics view of Riters as being violent and destructive, we are producing this battle to show the positivity and creativity which resides in the true meaning of Hip Hop.

RULES

This is a neutral zone…Take your beef to the battle,

Not the streets!

RESPECT…No Defacing… of No Property… of Nobody’s Pieces…of Nobody!

The backdrop will be flat black, areas will be buffed intermittently throughout event.

Area size will consist of  8’h x 12’w panels.

Paint will be supplied for Tag Battle and Final Battle. Time limit battle is bring your own. We will have paint vendors selling various brands and caps on hand.

Order of tag battle will be loosely based on order of sign-up. Order of piece battle will be determined on judges pairing combined with tag battle outcome.

We encourage call outs and will schedule desired battles as best we can through event…once again NO FIGHTING!

All entrants will be required to leave a valid email, the event is long and we will be sending mass emails containing schedules and outcomes to all competitors.

All entrants encouraged to be there at times of kick-off and end day announcements.

All proceeds are to support event, if you pay and don’t show to paint, don’t come asking for a refund.
